U.S. Privacy Rights

Understand your choices and how to make a privacy request.
Rights depend on the applicable law
U.S. states have different privacy laws, eligibility rules, exemptions and business thresholds. Depending on your state and whether a law applies to SheIQ’s processing, you may have rights to:
- Know whether we process your information, access it and receive a portable copy.
- Correct inaccurate information and request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of a sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
- Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive information, or withdraw consent where required.
- Opt out of certain profiling that produces legally or similarly significant effects, if such processing occurs.
- Appeal a denied request where the applicable law provides that right.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Nothing in this notice limits a right or remedy that the law gives you.
Make a privacy request
Email office@sheiq.co with the subject “Privacy request.” Tell us your state of residence, the request you want to make and the email associated with your account or order, if relevant. You do not need to open an account to submit a request. Do not include a password, payment-card number or identity document in your initial message.
For access, correction and deletion, we may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or authority. We will respond within the time required by the applicable law and explain any lawful extension or inability to fulfill the request.
An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf. Depending on the request and applicable law, we may require proof of authorization or confirmation from you. An opt-out request will not be made subject to the same identity-verification process used for access or deletion.
Advertising opt-outs and browser signals
Some states treat certain transfers to advertising platforms as a sale or sharing even if the business does not receive money for the information. Browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control, may communicate an opt-out under applicable law.
[Confirm SheIQ’s actual advertising activity and whether it is covered. Add a tested online opt-out for sale, sharing or targeted advertising as required, with GPC handling where applicable. This email contact is not a substitute for a required technical opt-out.]
For more about the site’s technologies, see our Cookie Policy. Our Privacy Policy describes categories of information, uses, disclosures and retention.
Additional information for California residents
If SheIQ is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, eligible California residents have the applicable rights described above, including access, deletion, correction, sale/sharing opt-outs and limits on certain uses of sensitive personal information. Exceptions can apply, including records needed to complete a transaction or meet a legal obligation.
[Complete the California applicability review. If covered, add the required prior-12-month category disclosures, sale/sharing and sensitive-information disclosures, notice at collection, and the required request methods. Do not publish this draft as a completed CCPA notice.]
Appeals and concerns
If we deny a request and the applicable law provides an appeal right, reply to our decision or email office@sheiq.co with the subject “Privacy appeal” and explain your concern. We will consider the appeal and respond within the legally required period. You may also contact your state’s attorney general or other relevant privacy regulator.
